this is the last week to go see the installation we made as “sumi ink club” at
ooga booga. its called “floating booga” and its made of many wooden cutouts made from our drawings, arranged as mobiles. yes!
this weekend you can go to barnsdall park in LA and listen to music coming out of trees. curated by
aaron rose as part of the
“swerve” festival… there’s also a gang gang dance tree, and an animal collective tree, and a no age tree, and a barr tree. ya! our tree has lots of midi versions of medieval music, inuit vocal games, and songs we recorded inside of a redwood tree. you can listen to the sounds on these long long long mp3’s :

we’re playing two shows tonight, an early one (8-10 pm) at
high energy constructs at the top of hill st in chinatown, and a late one (10-12 pm) at
the smell downtown. why two shows? our friend raphael
mudboy is in town only for a very little while and we should play as many shows together as possible while we can. also we’re taking a break after these shows to work on MANY PROJECTS. come out come out!!
