Thousands of Sumi afficionados flocked to the South by South Sumi Festival this weekend at Domy Books in Austin Texas. All were welcomed with open arms.

Another beautiful sumi session attended by good friends from Los Angeles, two delivery men pausing to draw, and a new friend from Osaka, Japan travelling through the US making music.

Another excellent day of Sumi Ink Club at the Smell in downtown Los Angeles. The Mural is now complete, drawn by over 40 hands!

Sumi Ink Club met this Sunday afternoon to begin work on an epic mural at our favorite Los Angeles music venue, The Smell. It’s on the left wall next to the snack zone. We had a great turnout of many excellent artists, and the mural is signed K.H. (aka Keith Haring). As there was word of a ghostly Keith sighting mid sumi session.
